Sexual violence is an issue that I am quite passionate about. As someone who knows people who have experienced sexual violence I have found myself outraged by the lack of action surrounding it. Unfortunately,
the statistics surrounding sexual violence aren’t solid. Most victims are made to feel ashamed of the atrocities they have experienced, don’t fully understand that what they have experienced is actually sexual violence, or are afraid to speak up as they believe that no one will believe them.
